Top 10 goals Cristiano Ronaldo
Itinerary of a pichichi like no other
Pichichi. A term that suits him so well, and which would suit him even better if Leo Messi was not in the race in the same capacity every year. The pichichi, the name given to the top scorer in the Spanish championship, is just one of the many trophies that Cristiano Ronaldo has hung in his (huge) living room.
Born in 1985, on the good island of Madeira (Portugal), Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro (CR7, it’s much simpler) joined the Sporting Club Portugal training center at 11 years old. He quickly caught the eye of Manchester United, following a match between the two teams. He joined the Red Devils in 2003. He won numerous titles there, including the Premier League and the Champions League (plus the Golden Ball).
2009, he joined the Spanish club Real Madrid, becoming the most expensive player in the world (before the madness of all the current transfers). Since then, he has won the championship twice (2012 and 2017) but above all 3 Champions Leagues (2014, 2016, 2017).
An exceptional athlete, on and off the field
Ronaldo, the Portuguese, as he is also called (hard to get behind “Ronaldo, the real” (Brazilian), Cristiano is as bankable on and off the green rectangle. He has long had the favor of his ladies, with no less than 4 new trophies, such as “sexiest player in a competition” (euro 04-08, world cup 06 and sportsman 2012). He advertises for many brands, such as Nike, Suzuki, etc. Pepe Jeans, Emporio Armani and Poker Stars (or he finds his Brazilian counterpart Neymar Jr).
