Top 10 best homemade cocktails

All tastes are natural and of course a preparation may please some and not others. THE cocktails must remain a moment of pleasure, first of all by preparing them and then by presenting them to your guests. To date there are many, a proposal of 10 (available to everyone), will allow you to test them, improve them, and perhaps create others.
A beautiful ray of sunshine, a few friends… good tasting, but be careful, some can be explosive… so we wait a little before hitting the road…

TOP cocktail n°1. Acapulco (exotic cocktail)

You have a shaker, it’s perfect, 4 or 5 ice cubes will be enough and we can start.

  • 2/10 of Cointreau
  • 5/10 Tequila
  • 2/10 pineapple juice
  • 1/10 lime juice (homemade if possible)
  • 1 spoonful of powdered sugar
  • 1 spoonful of egg white
  • 1 dash of grenadine

Remember to shake well to mix. Cocktail glass, a pineapple wedge and a zest of lime for decoration. It’s simple

TOP cocktail n°2. Cuba Libre (exotic cocktail)

Obviously, when we hear Cuba, we think of the blue sky, the magnificent white sand beaches, the music that invites you to dance and the beautiful old multi-colored American cars that amplify the charm of this magnificent country…. but be careful, the fashion is for Mojito accompanied by grilled lobsters… Humm!!! I can not wait for the vacation.

  • 1/10 lemon juice
  • 3/10 white rum (all rums are good but Cuban rum is more fragrant)
  • 6/10 of Cola

That’s it, it’s ready, easy. Serve well chilled.

TOP cocktail n°3. Daïquiri (exotic cocktail)

A little hello to our West Indian friends. Easy to prepare, but I am often told that you have to force a little more on the white rum.

  • 6/10 white rum
  • 3/10 lemon juice
  • 1/10 cane sugar syrup

A wedge of lemon and a pretty colored straw for decoration, and always serve chilled.

TOP cocktail n°4. Pinacolada (exotic cocktail)

Put all the ingredients in the shaker with a little crushed ice, stir well and if you can, serve in pineapples stripped of their flesh, a little something that your guests will like.

  • 4/10 pineapple juice
  • 4/10 white rum
  • 1/10 cognac and dash of Angostura Bitter
  • 1 spoonful of brown sugar (powdered)

TOP cocktail n°5. Pink Lady (exotic cocktail)

Classic recipe of which here are the ingredients but which it would be good to transform a little according to a bartender who wants to please his customers.

  • 6/10 gin
  • 3/10 lemon juice
  • 1/10 grenadine

A few ice cubes and we shake it all up. A child’s game (sorry… an adult’s game).
To improve it a little, mix 6/10 gin, 2/10 Cointreau, 2/10 lemon juice, a splash of grenadine and 1/2 egg white.

Place your glasses in the freezer for 5 minutes and dip the rim in powdered sugar (some bartenders dip the rim in grenadine before sugaring).

TOP 6. Planter’Punch (exotic cocktail)

It’s a classic but still delicious.

  • 4/10 white rum
  • 2/10 orange juice
  • 2/10 pineapple juice
  • 2/10 lemon juice
  • 1 dash of maraschino
  • 1 dash of Grand Marnier
  • 1 dash of amber rum

Always shake well in a shaker and serve with a small wedge of pineapple and 1 or 2 cherries.

During the plain summer season you will test all this and you will enjoy it anyway.
But we also have to think about all those who don’t like alcohol and who have the right to enjoy a few fruity cocktails.

TOP 7. California (non-alcoholic cocktail)

  • 1 dash of grenadine
  • 4/10 orange juice
  • 2/10 apricot nectar
  • 1/10 barley syrup
  • 3/10 from Ginger Ale

In a shaker with crushed ice, add the Ginger Ale after mixing. Serve in a long glass with pretty colored straws.

TOP 8. Honeymoon (non-alcoholic cocktail)

A nice little cocktail with a fairly mild taste.

  • 2/10 lemon juice
  • 5/10 white grape juice
  • 1/10 raspberry syrup
  • 2/10 liquid honey (all flowers)

The presentation is made in a champagne flute.

TOP 9. Maracuja (non-alcoholic cocktail)

This mixture of fruits is very pleasant and makes a cocktail where ‘passion’ takes over.

  • 4/10 passion fruit syrup
  • 2/10 passion fruit juice
  • 2/10 orange juice
  • 2/10 lemon juice
  • 1 fillet of grenadine
  • 1 egg yolk

Shake the shaker with the addition of crushed ice for at least 30 seconds.

TOP 10. Shirley Temple

This number 10 has a nice name and some memories for movie buffs. Some variations are possible.

  • 6/10 pineapple juice
  • 1/10 strawberry syrup
  • 3/10 lemonade (or ginger ale)

For my part I mix the pineapple juice with the passion fruit juice in equal parts.
In all cocktails, presentation is important, so it’s a pleasure to experiment with presentations and sometimes unexpected mixtures.

You have the cocktails, what are you missing? How about drinking it on one of these magnificent paradise islands?
